It is to everyone’s agreement that learning business does not require you to go through formal education. Unlike studying engineering or medical expertise, with business you can practically learn it from the streets. Sure, there are business schools and great colleges that offer business majors. However, learning business is one of those few things you can easily pick-up online, one of which is through YouTube.

Believe it or not, career switching happens more often than you think. In fact, many former flight attendants have successfully transitioned from their previous career to become entrepreneurs. However, if you feel like starting your own business is not your call, perhaps you ought to consider these career options.

If years of pandemic have taught us anything, especially flight attendants, it is that you cannot rely solely on one source of income all the time. As you might have experienced yourself, massive layoffs have happened throughout 2020-21 in the aviation industry and no one expected that to happen. Many flight attendants were put on furlough or worse, laid off and forced to seek for other means to sustain their life.

So, let’s say you are a former flight attendant who wishes to switch careers, what do you think are your main selling points? Well, one might say customer service is what mainly a flight attendant excels at. But what if your dream career involves something outside the realm of hospitality?
